Hotel Laekur, Hella

My stay at this hotel was truly fantastic. The rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with underfloor heating, providing a very comfortable experience. The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff making my stay even more enjoyable. The location, although in a remote area, offered a peaceful and relaxing ambiance with stunning views of volcanoes, horse farms, and a beautiful river. The dining experience, while not extensive, was tasty and satisfying, getting me ready for my Icelandic adventures. Overall, a great value for money with excellent facilities.

The facilities were top-notch, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

I was housed upstairs at the roof, which was the size of a large walk-in closet but provided a view of many things in Iceland. The service was pleasant and the staff were just incredible, sympathetic with our consternation and confusion about the price and the room we were allotted. The location was beautiful and perfect for viewing the Northern Lights, with a hot tub and steam room outside. The dining was satisfying, offering a variety of options like homemade yogurts, breads, cheese, and more. Overall, a cozy spot surrounded by nature with some room for improvement in room size and dining variety.

The rooms offered a reasonable selection of drinks to buy, making the stay pleasant overall. The service was sweet and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect.
